Pros

Toll Brothers pays 50% up front. TB is good about giving major holidays off. TB business itself is profitable. TB builds a beautiful house.

Cons

Flat rate commission equivalent to less than 1% commission . TB is paying less than any other National builder. 10 days off a year. Poor benefits. Poor work/life balance if you are in sales. You work nights and weekends, not appreciated monetarily. A lot of paperwork. It takes approx. 10 hours of paperwork and process time to complete a contract. No bonuses were given out.

The company emphasizes professionalism, customer experience, and sales development. I gained valuable experience in new home sales, lead management, and working alongside talented sales and construction teams.

Cons

Like many positions in homebuilding, success can be highly dependent on market conditions, inventory availability, and community assignment. Weekend work is expected, and balancing customer needs with operational processes can sometimes be challenging.
