Pros
I feel very blessed to say Topographic has been a fantastic firm and community to be a part of. The culture is family-oriented, where people genuinely get along on an everyday basis and work collaboratively in a cohesive work environment. Topographic has terrific leadership at the helm. They are progressive, forward thinking and seem to care about the person and not solely the production out of its employees. In fact, out of the blue last month, the CEO did an entire office walk-through, greeting everyone by their first name and seeing how they and their families were doing. I haven't seen that at many companies I've worked at in the past. Once they arrive, employees seem to want to stay here long-term and there is low turnover. Leadership demonstrates honesty and integrity, and it influences and improves on the overall culture of the firm. In my experience over the last two years, I have had daily hands-on learning opportunities. Our engineering solutions are pragmatic and cost-effective, not the quickest and easiest solution. I have not been stifled, but have been given as much work as I would like to learn as quickly as I would like. The work-life balance is great and much better than at previous companies I have worked for.
