Pros

What an amazing company to share a meaningful experience. There is always an open door to all staff, but the leadership is especially receptive to any input or concern. I am always welcome as a family member, well-respected, and encouraged to participate. Feedback is expected on how to make the company more effective and efficient. Learning from experienced professionals about the financial markets and trading industry is a plus. It is easy to understand how TopstepTrader has become so successful in such a short period of time.

Cons

The greatest downside is that I am not a full-time permanent employee. The benefits and perks are unheard of in this day and age of cut-backs. What company gives you a $500 bonus to take at least five days off in a row after working there a year, also has a Field Day, softball and volleyball team, book club, community service (pet rescue, soup kitchen, etc.), chair massages from a professional, guided meditation times, Work from Home opportunities, summer Friday hours, Happy Hours, parties and outings, catered lunches, breakfast and snack bar, professional continuing education and training, as well as competitive salary, bonus opportunities, paid holidays, PTO accruing at 15 days and increasing annually, medical, dental, vision, life, long-term/short-term disability insurance, and 401(k), for example. This mix of work/life is what life is all about-especially when mates/dates are included in the social activities.

Pros

- Free Swag - Cool yearly vacations/meetups - Remote, with fair amount of PTO

Cons

Promotions are rigid, you’re essentially forced down the (Senior) Trader Support path regardless of the experience you bring. This in turn limits your salary growth. Best roles are already taken, and your odds of landing one when someone leaves/retires are slim to none
