Pros
Pay. Though it’s extremely variable even within the same team with little rhyme or reason. Flexibility if you’re not too overworked to be able to utilize or enjoy the flexibility.
Cons
Never ending changes depending on who the executive leadership team consists of that week. Departments are siloed, do not collaborate and have wildly different standards and cultures. Surprise firings/layoffs all of the time at every level of the org. Platform needs improvements to stay competitive (and functional). Do not really ever see them going to market.
