Pros
I have worked at TQL almost 8 years now and I cannot say anything but great things about the company. I started in 2007 at headquarters in Cincinnati, OH and worked there about four years. I moved to Louisville, KY to help start a new office for TQL in 2011 and worked there about three and a half years. This year I moved to Dallas, TX and helped open the new office in February of 2015. TQL has been an awesome opportunity for myself since I started in 2007. It has opened the door for myself to move and experience different parts of the country and help open new offices for the company. The unlimited earning potential helped me to be able to pay off my student loans in just 3 years after working here and set me up for the future. In the past couple years TQL has focused on national expansion and opening up offices all over the country. We have over 20 offices nation wide now and it gives us the opportunity to work almost anywhere we want in the country. With the new offices opening they will all need new leadership down the line so if that is something you are interested in starting in a newer office you will have a great opportunity to move up.
Cons
TQL will be all about what you put into the job. If you don't work hard and don't want to put in the effort/extra hours you will not make it here - plain and simple. It is a stressful job with longer hours than your standard bankers hours but in the long run it will pay off if you put in the work. Most people that do not succeed here fail because they do not put in the extra effort to go the extra mile for our customer's - this is what TQL is all about. To succeed you will have to work long hours and it will be stressful but it is worth it in the end.
