Pros
Young, vibrant, rowdy atmosphere. No day is the same as the next - lots of variety in the work. Massive amount of opportunity quickly- tenure doesn't play much of a role in terms of promotion eligibility. Lots of team outings and social events. Total control of your own account - from sales, to negotiation, to management, to accounting. While you always have resources and experienced vets available to help you, being solely responsible for your own book of business develops you into a really well-rounded business person by default. Oh, and the money rumors are true. Paychecks are unreal. There is no draw system - you begin earning commission the moment you go into sales.
Cons
Used to be a bit of a boys club, which as a female employee could be a little intense at times. Don't get me wrong, opportunity has always been equal for both genders.... just a lot of footballs flying through the air and Nerf guns exploding around you on a regular basis. I can see the gender dynamic changing pretty rapidly though - our office is close to 50/50 at this point. Hours - you need to be willing to work hard and often. The "slackers need not apply" slogan is definitely true for TQL. Stay money hungry and you will be fine.
