Pros

Quality, caring CEO, daily catered meals.

Cons

The leadership is out of touch with the rank and file. There’s an attempt at a company culture but it’s not pervasive. There’s a surface culture, and then there’s the real culture, which isn’t fun; it’s cut-throat politics because the (arrogant) core team that’s been there since the beginning can get away with ongoing apathy and egregious acts never tolerated from anyone hired post-2012. This leadership will rip-off your ideas and present them as their own - shamelessly in front of you. What this stems from is that it’s only the Old Boys Club at the top that makes the decisions, as evidenced by several recent female senior management departures. The issue they have is these original team members are more dangerous to TraceLink outside the firm than inside (very very paranoid about IP), so the paranoia of stolen ideas keeps these highly-paid-look-busy-apathy-pros around, regardless that they’re really just VPs on planes to their next Tinder date with a small side of "work". Posted by another reviewer below, I can echo the sentiments exactly: “Executives and senior management totally un-evolved as it pertains to how they communicate (they barely ever responded to emails) and unite their teams and, worse, there was zero effort made to encourage and motivate the individuals who they hired to help both them and the company succeed”. Very true - it’s like a time warp back to the 90s complete with high cube walls and pleated pants ha ha... Last bizarre factoid: by policy TraceLink does not conduct Exit Interviews. That’s the corporate equivalent to plugging your ears and saying LA LA LA.... Policy is *not* to listen....wow!

Pros

* Free lunch in the office. * Good tech solving real problems and improving the safety of the pharma supply chain. * Smart contributor and manager-level employees.

Cons

* CEO and COO don't trust the people they hire and micromanage often. When something fails, you get blamed despite an executive taking a major role in shifting it from your vision to the current state. * Penny pinching and outsourcing constantly without considering the downstream consequences. Example: Cutting an experienced contractor to use a cheap foreign freelancer from an online marketplace, resulting in deliverable delays that affect board presentations. * General poor treatment of talent. Horror stories like pressuring people to finish work over the holidays for SKO, when in reality they were being laid off. Layoffs happen annually. An incredible amount of hiring from the outside instead of promoting within too. * Terrible RTO push. Went from attributing growth during COVID to how good we were at WFH to completely eliminating remote work opportunities and mandating 5 days in office.
