Pros

Success is the combination of preparation and luck, and that is one quote that I believe sums up TraceLink. We got lucky in terms of the timing of the opportunity that is is in front of us. The preparation is definitely there though. The leaders of this organization have been preparing for at least a decade for these upcoming ten years. TraceLink is becoming something special in the Life Sciences Compliance space(Track and Trace). It really is a once in a life time opportunity to be a part of an organization that is growing this rapidly, becoming so successful, and has the chance to become the fastest growing SAAS(Software As A Service) company ever. The group that created this organization is still here, and you can tell that this is not just a job for them, it is there life and they will do everything they can in order for this company to be successful. It is good to see people that care about and have passion for what they are doing. Ultimately, we are protecting patients across the globe from getting counterfeit medicine which could ultimately cause them to die. We aren't out there operating on patients; but in an indirect way we do save lives. That is a great feeling to have going into work every day. TraceLink has some of the most intelligent people in the industry, and they are at your access every single day. Every person in this organization works in a cubicle, even the C level team, we have the ability to walk right up to the CEO and ask him about anything, or even just have a casual conversation. It is unbelievable how approachable everyone is here. The pay is competitive and you get rewarded for your success. It does not seem like any one here is taken for granted, if you are successful in what you are doing, upper management will acknowledge that. We also get a free catered lunch, and dinner if you are staying later, every day. That is a big time bonus when you consider how expensive food is in general. I'm not talking burgers and hot dogs either, we get everything from steak tips to chicken parm. Every other Thursday afternoon the office gathers for Thirsty Thursday and has beers or wine in the company kitchen. Directly, I am a part of a relatively new Sales Development team. The group is growing very quickly and has a new leader with great experience who is putting in the work to make us better at what we do. We have all the resources that we need in order to be successful, it is just a matter of putting in the work to do so. I have recommended some of my best friends to interview here, so I think that says enough right there in terms of what I think of this organization.

Cons

401K does not match, but that is expected it change early 2016. My real only con is that it is very quiet, need a little more excitement in the day to day activities.

Pros

* Free lunch in the office. * Good tech solving real problems and improving the safety of the pharma supply chain. * Smart contributor and manager-level employees.

Cons

* CEO and COO don't trust the people they hire and micromanage often. When something fails, you get blamed despite an executive taking a major role in shifting it from your vision to the current state. * Penny pinching and outsourcing constantly without considering the downstream consequences. Example: Cutting an experienced contractor to use a cheap foreign freelancer from an online marketplace, resulting in deliverable delays that affect board presentations. * General poor treatment of talent. Horror stories like pressuring people to finish work over the holidays for SKO, when in reality they were being laid off. Layoffs happen annually. An incredible amount of hiring from the outside instead of promoting within too. * Terrible RTO push. Went from attributing growth during COVID to how good we were at WFH to completely eliminating remote work opportunities and mandating 5 days in office.
