Pros

Flexible, Very smart people, lots of company provided food/drinks

Cons

If you work in infrastructure (or Networking/operations), stay away. The man running the show is a visionless man who's expectations are not realistic. He will make sure your life is hell...just stand by the revolving door and observe. This man's ideas of moving forward and progressing is circular.

Trading Technologies Response

Thank you for your feedback. Your comments are very similar to comments posted on Mar. 6 by another former TT employee and I want to share that response here. "I wish you would have brought these issues to my attention while you were employed at TT. I, along with managers at all levels within TT, have an open door policy and are available to everyone for transparent and honest discussions. I expect that all of your concerns could have been addressed with better communication and that is something my team leads and I recognize as an area for improvement. Over the last six years we consolidated two independent global trading backbones, upgraded nearly our entire network infrastructure, built out three new datacenters, and migrated another three existing datacenters to exchange colocation. This is a tremendous feat that only could have been accomplished by highly capable and dedicated individuals. I and the rest of the executive management team have the utmost respect for what the operational teams at TT have delivered over the years and recognize that there have been many weekends sacrificed to accomplish these achievements. I personally recognize the sacrifice that each of these teams has made for TT and our vision, and to that end we have over the last six months been taking the steps to address concerns of our infrastructure and operations teams. Our challenge has been to transform infrastructure and operations to keep pace with the challenges facing all fast paced and innovative software companies. In short, infrastructure and operations teams must automate and that is both a cultural and operational change for the teams. It is, of course, management's responsibility to coach employees through any transformation and while we thought the direction was clear to everyone, it is evident that we need to work on communicating our direction and expectations to all employees. We want to see our employees transcend their current roles and build new skills - and many have. As a result, these newly acquired skills have allowed them to explore other opportunities within as well as outside TT. "

Pros

It was fine for a time. Some passionate and kind people, pretty view from the office. Products are interesting enough. Good healthcare plan.

Cons

Laid off >10% in November 2025, probably due to new private equity ownership. Huge lack of documentation or mentorship. Lots of corporate blather from higher up that makes individual work less effective. Complete lack of career growth opportunities.
