Pros

My team has good leadership at the middle management level

Cons

-Senior leadership makes ill informed reckless changes constantly -Even if your manager values you, the company as a whole does not and your manager has very little say on raises, headcount, working arrangements, etc -No longer offering virtual/remote opportunities -Employees now forced to return to office if they live within 30 miles of a company location, with zero plans to actually have space and workstations available -Extremely limited opportunities for growth. if you live more than 30 miles away, you can stay virtual, But essentially you will never be allowed to go for any other positions with the company because they don’t post virtual job postings anymore. So you can either stay in your same position forever, or you will be forced to move if you want to take another position with the company -benefits were recently reduced. -health insurance sucks. They only offer high deductible options. Basic care ends up being a lot of money out of your own pocket. -Senior leadership is sneaky and lacks transparency. They’ve been doing mass layoffs recently with no announcements at all. They still haven’t even acknowledged that it’s happening.

Pros

Great work environment and work/life balance. I have the ability to manage my own work without micromanaging.

Cons

The process to be hired on directly from being a contractor was terrible. Backed me into a corner with a couple of days left on my contract and said to accept offer which was under what was communicated to me or basically i would not be working once my contract ended.
