Pros
IR cares about worker safety both on and off the job. As with most large corporations, reviews are an annual affair with formulaic results, but at least you won't go years without a raise. There is plenty of opportunity for advancement if you are interested in management. They are working on improving technical career tracks. pay is fair, especially in relation to cost of living and work life balance options.
Cons
Innovation happens mostly within the proverbial box. The products/brands aren't terribly exciting.
