~Very little room for advancement as lab tech and lots of competition for available positions ~lots of finger-pointing and blame-gaming between lab, engineering and management ~management makes ridiculous amounts of money (current CEO compensation is 17M annually) but never gives out more than 3% raises so make sure you negotiate as much money up front as possible ~East Texas is a very backward, isolated area. Trane is one of the largest employers and the only major manufacturing facility, so there is very little in the way of competition for technical jobs which makes the hiring team complacent
