Company has an amazing people-first dynamic, and a culture that's something special. Everyone says their people are what make their company so special... but it isn't just a claim here. I've been in the corporate space for a decade with four different Fortune companies, but I can honestly say things are different here. Start-up mentality because the company is 5 years old, but lots of legacy and history from owned brands that is fun to see take new shapes and forms. Company is truly doing incredible, innovative, and exciting things to change the world and make a global impact by significantly reducing emissions.
Cons
Company is growing FAST, which means tons of opportunity - but that also means it's critical to hire people with the right skills needed for niche roles. It can be challenging when folks are hired into roles that desperately need deep industry knowledge or subject matter expertise but only have high-level, generally transferrable skills. Typical decentralization woes. Lots of folks who aren't aware of centralized processes and want to go, go, go, which can be frustrating when it comes to processes and best practices. Compensation is average. For a company that desperately wants to attract, hire, and retain women in STEM - 4 weeks of paid time off is a joke. Even if you take unpaid leave to supplement, your bonus is docked if you're gone for more than 12 weeks in a row.
