Pros
Not many, except your cowrkers (i.e. non-mangers) are usually very talented, lovely people to work with. They do not value their employees. Oh - you get to wear jeans on Fridays, WOOHOO!
Cons
You get bullied into keeping your work week at 40 hours despite putting in an average of 1-3, soemtimes more hours a week ( a direct violation of the DOL standards). They have been laying off several hundred (could be about 2,000 or more since 2013), and spreading the piling of work onto those loyal, dedicated employees that they haven't eliminated in order to increase their demand for automation. This is ultimately affecting all the clients and customers and creates a serious declien int he quality of our products offered (I am in the etirement services division). There is absolutely no motivation or morale in any of the offices. The health insurance is sooooo awful, they offer their own supplemental insurance policies that you can purchase - this should be illegal in my opinion.
