Pros

Co-workers mostly nice, decent benefits

Cons

High volume work load due to attrition. Takes long time to get work processed and problem fixed. Silos of "lifers" at TCS that will berate and send work back rather than help resolve..."not my job" attitude. Conversely, new people hired in 2019 in Norwood are the opposite! But they offer limited support. Management drinking too much Kool-aid and losing ability to fix problems - too many Little Rock people moved into mgmt positions that were promoted despite being mediocre at the previous jobs -- promoted due to who you are friend with and not what was accomplished. Our internal processing systems/ processes are horrendous! Outsourcing case processing to India has led to many Polices held up, canceled and/or processed wrong leading to time consuming error corrections. So many systems have to be used to access info. I open 8 programs every morning and end up using 3 more. Ridiculous! Researching problems takes forever and refer to my first gripe about high volume work load. Trans brand is Health and Wealth. Yet, we have junk food vending, most people go to fast food restaurants due to 30 min lunch breaks, and they allow smoking within 50 yards of door. Smokers take many breaks outside daily while I sit at my desk grinding through work load. Some favoritism and inequity in work distribution as well. No advancement opptys, only lateral.

As a producer, there is unlimited income potential.

Pros

It all depends on the are you work in the company, but you can get a really supportive manager.

Cons

1. They give you a job description and then add responsibilities without pay. Especially when it comes to phones. Been in 2 departments and they both promised minimal phone calls in the positions and then continued to force the teams to take overflow calls. 2. They don’t reign in the micromanagers.
