Pros

Mostly good people in Baltimore and Exton. Plano has it's share of weirdos.

Cons

Cedar Rapids and the Investments people in Baltimore, they'll stab their own mother to get one step ahead. Don't try to say "Hello" in the hallway to either. Try forcing you to donate to United Way or whatever charity of the week they're using to gain publicity. They'll try anything to make money (and usually fail) : Truck Leasing, movie industry, stocks and money markets...I wouldn't want to buy insurance from a truck driver. They don't even own the building they use as their logo...who does that? The International Executives think they're the best thing since sliced bread.

Pros

great account management team. Great bosses. pension. decent benefits. managers allow flexibility.

Cons

the account managers are the only ones held accountable. other departments don't answer emails for weeks, don't do their jobs and no one in upper management cares. directly effects account managers so you get yelled at by clients and brokers a lot. don't get paid enough to do the job of the account manager and take on the other departments work.
