Draconian rules within certain departments. If you provide feedback, you will be retaliated against. Pay scales are large but most employees are at the bottom 1-3% of the pay scale. The motto of "shut up and do your job" is rampant. You will not get a raise for obtaining desired designations within your field of work, prompting you to look elsewhere to obtain your market value.
