Pros
The company stays on top of training its employees with new products and provides refreshers on existing products. One of the best documented software's I've seen through a client-facing website with easily thousands of videos, PDFs, and training courses that both employees and clients can take. Literally every single person I've asked for help has jumped to assist - I have not met a single person, C-suite included, that has not tried to make time to answer questions or solve problems when a situation arises. I like that the company has chosen to offer permanent remote positions, while maintaining their physical locations for those that wish to take advantage. I rarely have to work late and when I do it has been at the request of a client outside of my time zone, or I've tried to stay ahead of the next day's work if a lot of meetings are scheduled. There was a recent round of feedback sessions provided to Directors and C-Suite and they actually implemented change based on our feedback/complaints. The company is growing a ton so there are notable growing pains, but they are extremely proactive about hiring and offer a great bonus for referrals. They never ask questions about PTO/time off (except in the Summer which is the busiest season, and they are VERY upfront on that during the hiring process)
Cons
- no guaranteed 401k match, its discretionary year to year (and based on length of employment) - no holiday bonus - transparent to a point, but their CRM software is convoluted and is difficult to both track and track down past data/conversations. - little communication about staff changes. They celebrate new hires but don't disclose when people leave the company. If its cross-team we have to hear it through the grape vine - a recent incentive program for the Service team was contingent not just on our effort but also the Sales team's effort. Towards the end of the quarter we hit our goal but the Sales team only hit part of theirs, and it affected our bonus. This was discouraging (especially around the holidays..) as we had no control over their progress and therefore missed out on a significant amount of money even though the Service team did their part.
