Pros

Management truly cares about your success. They strive to give the "why" behind the tasks. They also care about you outside of work as well and having healthy work-life balance. Every person I have worked with has been a person of high integrity and competence. Honestly can't say enough good things about Trapp. There are also a lot of opportunities for remote work which is a great thing.

Cons

There can be some learning curves working remote and having to learn everything virtually. But, despite this, management goes above and beyond to make sure employees are prepared and not just thrown into the deep end.

We wouldn't be doing our job if we didn't take the success of our employees seriously. That means encouraging personal and mental health days and continued discussions on how to make sure our employees are set up best. We hear you on the remote work learning curve. We do strive to make our virtual trainings and job shadowing as in depth as possible and leave the door open for continued education.

Pros

Great schedules, great training, caring managers that listen to suggestions and care about making you better. Coworkers are friendly. Very family like atmosphere. Training is excellent. I went from green to experienced in no time. They love working with inexperienced candidates and making them better and efficient at being an analyst.

Cons

Pay raises are slow. Pay is lower than average.

Pros

They'll hire you with no experience so I suppose that's a plus if you're looking to get in to the field

Cons

Pay is absurdly low. They have lost good people because of it and still done nothing to improve it. The SOC is suffering from extreme alert fatigue because alerts don't get tuned and analysts are drowning in false positives with no work actually being done to combat it. Instead time is being dedicated to marketable features that serve no actual purpose and provide no benefit to customers.
