As they are owned by Sabre, Travelocity has received little support in the way of technology and operations, diminishing the company's ability to battle with the fierce OTA competition. Travelocity upper management is totally ineffective; communication is silo-ed among work groups, causing massive loss of revenue. Due to one bad decision after another and way too much corner-cutting, Sabre has given up on its supplier business and signed an agreement to work with Expedia for supply beginning 2014 (this is public record).
