Pros
Travelocity is one of the best places for work-life balance. They have very generous time-off benefits and the flexibility to work from home when necessary. In addition, there are some great people to work with and you can learn a lot. Also, if you are philanthropic, Travelocity does a lot with charity and sustainability.
Cons
Travelocity went from the #2 online travel agency 5 years ago to competing head-to-head for #3 today. Many of the Senior leadership have departed in the last two years, thus there are a lot of new leaders being brought in which causes a lot of churn and reorgs. Travelocity is headquartered in one of the lowest cost cities in the nation, yet it treats its HQ employees as if they are the most expensive workers in the country. In Dallas, there isn't enough parking for employees (even though we're at a private campus in a spacious suburb). Cubicles are not longer assigned to employees. Travelocity has become so "green" that it annoying -- they recently removed all the trash cans from the cubicles to encourage people to use several recycling bins centrally located. They won't build more parking because it isn't the "green" thing to do.
