Pros
- The culture is amazing and coming in to the office is actually something I look forward to. Everybody is friendly, HR frequently holds social events where they'll bring food and games. They try very hard to encourage interaction with people outside of your usual team that you work with day to day. - The technology is very cool, and pretty unique. There's still room to contribute, even on older products with 10+ year old codebases. - There's a lot of good software knowledge, especially among the senior developers. They try and do things the right way, and more often than not they succeed at it.
Cons
- Vacation time is adequate, but feels like it's not quite enough. - If you want to work exclusively remote, you'll probably have trouble fitting in. There's a lot of in-person collaboration that goes on and all of the offices and conference rooms have an entire wall painted to be a whiteboard, so it's hard to replicate that over a teams meeting.
