Pros

It's much like a family. Flexible hours and different types of schedules that help to create a great work/life balance. After 2 years of employment Healthcare is paid for by the company and the coverage is decent.

Cons

Depending on the day/location can be very very busy and tiresome. On the other side you have to face the fact that the pay isn't great, but lets be honest you didn't become an EMT for the pay you're there to help and serve the community.

Pros

Amazing place to work, smaller company so management and the owner are very accessible and easy to speak with. Supervisors are all very kind and care about you. Depending on the shift you work, different ratios of 911 to IFT but always a mix of both. Opportunity for 24hr shift based on seniority status where you will get most/all 911 calls out of quarters. Rigs are also getting upgraded quick- F-350’s with auto loaders for all 24hr crews and many day cars. Opportunities for CCT and fire alliance where you are stationed within a local FD. This company supports and values that many of its employees use this as a stepping stone to another career goal which I love. Compensation is also competitive for the area.

Cons

Can sometimes be hard to get ahold of scheduling for requests about new partners or new shifts.
