Pros

Good educational opportunities, benefits are a plus.

Cons

The increase and incentives do not make you feel worthy. They usually hire or “move” internally within friend groups. Specifically in management. Management is going through leadership training but it’s only a certification and not necessarily how they behave. If you have a great idea- it only will go forward if management hangs out with you.

Pros

Time and a half call pay when you're on call and get called in. Frequent Incentives and hourly incentives for specialty units.

Cons

Managers have favorites and enable them to continue unsafe performance. Certain employees are held to rules relating to tardiness and absences, others are not. Maternity leave (short term disability) is not great
