Pros

In my time there I found plenty of inspiration for all the ways I have never and will never choose to be as a leader. There was no shortage of examples observed and personally experienced of employee mistreatment and disregard for their wellbeing.

Cons

There is an extremely toxic work culture. Employees are routinely overworked and under extreme pressure. It is expected that you will continue to perform and prove you’re there to SERVE. Most dedicated professionals understand that putting in extra hours is often necessary but there should be boundaries. You can forget about that happy little work-life balance concept if you really want to work for TriHealth. There is no clear direction and no organized processes to evaluate incoming work so it is constant chaos and very poor change management. Leaders are consumed by their dashboard metrics that ultimately determine their bonus at the end of the year. It’s not really about doing the right thing and leading courageously to address the serious problems that exist.

Pros

Time and a half call pay when you're on call and get called in. Frequent Incentives and hourly incentives for specialty units.

Cons

Managers have favorites and enable them to continue unsafe performance. Certain employees are held to rules relating to tardiness and absences, others are not. Maternity leave (short term disability) is not great
