Pros

-Staff are good to work with and are friendly. -Management are willing to train new people. -Can get a lot of hours if you want them.

Cons

-Part time is not part time. They add on mandatory education that takes you up to 40hours a week. Plus mandatory On -call days which you almost always get called in for, so it is like working a 40hour work week, every week, without the benefits of full time, - difficulty getting your break/lunch on some units -high turn over with staff. -difficulty getting time off.

Pros

Time and a half call pay when you're on call and get called in. Frequent Incentives and hourly incentives for specialty units.

Cons

Managers have favorites and enable them to continue unsafe performance. Certain employees are held to rules relating to tardiness and absences, others are not. Maternity leave (short term disability) is not great
