Pros
Joining here as DevOps engineer gave me immediate exposure to client-facing infrastructure work, which was both challenging and rewarding. My responsibilities included setting up deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform, coordinating with different teams, and ensuring deliverables met quality standards. Working with Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes daily is building strong automation skills. I learned how to handle ambiguous requirements and transform them into structured infrastructure solutions. Regular discussions with team members helped me understand the impact of our automation work on client objectives. The organization encourages proactive problem-solving, which allowed me to develop creative automation solutions. I participated in internal workshops that improved my technical and business skills. The culture promotes collaboration but also values independent thinking. Leadership team is transparent about challenges and direction during quarterly updates which builds trust. Working on infrastructure for Gen AI model deployments is new and interesting challenge. Manager doesn't micromanage which lets me be creative in infrastructure approaches.
Cons
Infrastructure incidents may require immediate troubleshooting response.
