Pros
The job is something you can feel good about doing because of the community that you're serving in this role. It's a good place to learn as well and there are good people that work for this company.
Cons
In my experience Internal staff plays favoritism, but most places do and that may not be the case for you. They don't give you many recruiting tools, so you have to be able to hustle (cold call). In my opinion you're underpaid a bit, and the commission structure isn't great unless you have a HUGE book of business which takes a long time to grow. The problem with growing that book is they don't take on new clients very often so you're basically fighting against other recruiters for all the same placements.
