Compensation is below market and need improvement. The company does offer standard pay raises every year across departments (typically 3-5%) but it feels like a drop in the bucket when the company’s competitors offer comp 20% higher or more on average.
Middle management is quite often insensitive to the needs of their direct reports, particularly as it relates to periodic performance feedback (and not only at each performance review) and ongoing training.
The company is going through growing pains having cut many of its clients over the past 2 years.
Significant changes to compensation, branding, internal processes, and HR over the last year have left many employees having to adjust on the fly. Greater transparency would be ideal.
