Pros

Good pay. Good parking for employees

Cons

Expected to much from Phlebos. Its all about a numbers ,im referring to how many patients were drawn that day on your shift. Sometimes it might take a little longer drawing blood from a geriatric patients then another patient. Supervisor are all are Time and Numbers. And there should be more phlebos in the lab dept. That can help out in the whole hospital instead of just staying the the laboratory talking away and doing nothing. There was too much stress when I worked in the lab dept. People act nice to new co workers in the beginning .Then the gossip starts from the people that have been there for years. I really disliked working thier because of the people that work there in the lab.its a good hospital but thr staff needs to lear to be respectful and encouraging.

Pros

The Call Center can be relatively low stress during the daytime on weekdays. Evening and weekends are a bit more demanding. For how busy it can be it can also be just as slow so there is often time for a cool down or relaxing for a few moments.

Cons

Poor job training. Many people only get a few days of training and are then put on the phones and expected to handle any type of call that comes in, and if a question is raised to another employee or who ever is taking point, the their first response is usually to look it up among the dozens of different documents available that you barely had time to look at during training while on a call.
