Pros

Trinity Senior Services runs nursing homes including the Alverno in Clinton Iowa. I found the interview refreshing and allowed me to showcase my ability to think out the box and empathy for patients. In my interview I had a solution to a problem they were having with nurses who needed to draw blood and place IVS in skilled care but as nurses working in gerontology. Especially a mixture of long term care and skilled care. The interviewer took my solution to the problem and within a month, we had new equipment that solved the problem of nurses who do not often get to draw blood or start IVS. It was awesome!

Cons

12 hour shifts in long term care is entirely to long to work. I want to give my best but after about 10 hours, I found my staff making more errors; Residents were tired of the providers and it was simply to long of a shift without relief. You worked 12 or you were encouraged to leave. Forever.

Pros

The Call Center can be relatively low stress during the daytime on weekdays. Evening and weekends are a bit more demanding. For how busy it can be it can also be just as slow so there is often time for a cool down or relaxing for a few moments.

Cons

Poor job training. Many people only get a few days of training and are then put on the phones and expected to handle any type of call that comes in, and if a question is raised to another employee or who ever is taking point, the their first response is usually to look it up among the dozens of different documents available that you barely had time to look at during training while on a call.
