Pros

I met some of the nicest people to work with there. Some of the doctors were great to work and easy-going.

Cons

Manager was flaky, the medical director didn't have a clue what was going on, and certain medical assistants got special treatment over others for not doing their job. You would think after working there for 20+ years there would be some level of respect, but I was still I was easily replaceable. My yearly reviews didn't count for anything to receive a decent merit raise. I was given 0.8 cent to 0.10 cent raises after great reviews and was told it was because I had been there so long and they wished they could give me more. It was so frustrating to work so hard and to be rewarded with basically nothing year after year, or the last one was giving the same amount to everyone across the board, even if they didn't do as well on their reviews. Not fair in my book.

Pros

The Call Center can be relatively low stress during the daytime on weekdays. Evening and weekends are a bit more demanding. For how busy it can be it can also be just as slow so there is often time for a cool down or relaxing for a few moments.

Cons

Poor job training. Many people only get a few days of training and are then put on the phones and expected to handle any type of call that comes in, and if a question is raised to another employee or who ever is taking point, the their first response is usually to look it up among the dozens of different documents available that you barely had time to look at during training while on a call.
