Pros

Patients were always polite & early to their appointments for the most part

Cons

I worked for Trinity Health-IHA The Management SUCKS, I put in my 2 week notice and Then on my last day I went in and was there for an hour, my boss pulled me into her office to have a meeting and she then told me I was wrong for putting in my 2 week notice & that I needed to hand in my badge and drawer keys now. Previously, she extended my 90 day probationary period because I wasn’t chit chatting with my co workers, When I hired in I was told after 90 days you get part of a $1,000 bonus. I didn’t get to touch any part of that bonus because I didn’t chit chat with my coworkers. This boss always seemed to have a problem with the way I was doing something ( even as simple as checking people in) I was trained and I asked questions daily but that still want enough. She had expectations for me to be just as good as the other 2 receptionist who have 10+ years of experience and I have never even done this before. Everytime you would get up to go to the rest room or whatever the employees would be nice to your face but talk so much crap about you as soon as you leave because they as grown 50 year old women didn’t think you could hear them. As I type this my last day was yesterday and my boss refused to let me work a full day like usual and then I got an exit survey in my email and come to find out when I go to do it this morning I have no access anymore. One last thing is that my boss and 2 others were able to leave for a week and I handled the front desk great, but she still didn’t think I was good enough for her. She allowed 3 other people to leave early EVERYDAY but I had to stay until 5 and lock up even though I was the new hire..

Pros

The Call Center can be relatively low stress during the daytime on weekdays. Evening and weekends are a bit more demanding. For how busy it can be it can also be just as slow so there is often time for a cool down or relaxing for a few moments.

Cons

Poor job training. Many people only get a few days of training and are then put on the phones and expected to handle any type of call that comes in, and if a question is raised to another employee or who ever is taking point, the their first response is usually to look it up among the dozens of different documents available that you barely had time to look at during training while on a call.
