Pros
Although this company has been by far the most unprofessional and unorganized company I have ever worked for, or ever seen for that matter there are in fact pros.. Pro: they will literally hire anyone, so if you are a fresh grad with nowhere else to go you can start here and build your resume. Pro: despite their awful base salary(25k) it is true that if you actually bust your butt over time you can make really good money here. Pro: one of the owners, Sab knows a lot about sales and if you get lucky he might shed some of his knowledge upon you. Sab is good guy, if he takes a liking to you he will do anything he can for you, if not your screwed and will be subject to daily harassment. Pro: happy hours, who doesn't like free booze?
Cons
Where to start.....first of all this company is extremely dis-organized. There is no HR department or infrastructure of ANY kind. They make their poor receptionist/office manager do basically everything from IT to HR to running errands. Common guys she has better stuff to do than get y'all breakfast tacos. The base salary is a joke, it amounts to about $10/hr. Turnover is ridiculous, turn and burn shop. Some people would get hired and fired before I could even learn their names... Extremely, and I do mean extremely unprofessional work environment- from cussing, inappropriate jokes, redundant company wide inappropriate email chains...the list goes on and on...and it all starts from the top. ZERO training- they will "train" you aka show you a power point slide and give you a call script. You will be making cold calls by day three upon arrival. The lack of training starts from the top, the owners spend NO time training management. Basically if you stick around long enough by default you will be made a manager(don't worry your pay increase is minor). The owners give nothing back to the employees. Yes you will get a few company happy hours but in terms of long term investments into the employee there is none. The sad truth about this company is that the owners do not care about the employee. The very people who busted their humps to make this company what it is were let go like yesterdays newspaper without one thought(Keely, Nathan....the list goes on and on). 200+ cold calls to many of the same clients everyday. This is a horrible way to do business, most of the companies Triple Crown "works" with refuse to do business with them due to the fact that the company basically harasses their employees all day. Very negative atmosphere as well, you can feel the tension/negativity just by walking in the door and again this starts from the top. If you like your boss shouting at you all day, screaming and making demoralizing comments this is the place for you! On more than one occasion I sat in the conference room and heard the owner tell the entire staff that they were not educated, his reasoning being if we were educated we would not be working at Triple Crown? Talk about a great way to start your day! I also witnessed the owner make a remark on one occasion about how much money he made and how no one in the room could ever afford his Mercedes Benz AMG......... Last but not least there is no room for growth. You can and will be promoted to a "team lead or manager" if you stick around long enough. This comes with a minor pay increase, your job duties will not change either-you will still be competing with your direct reports making 200 calls per day which obviously causes a conflict of interest.
