Pros

Flexible schedule.. sort of. You can pick your hours and tell them what you can’t work for the most part, however they will always try to see if you can work more and more. My coworkers were great..

Cons

Worked here for many years.. I loved my job at first, the last 2 years of me working there were horrible. Between constant schedule changes (without my knowledge or asking me and finding out last minute) Constant overtime, always getting asked to do more overtime, mentally and physically exhausted, but didn’t seem like manager cared. When family passed and gave 2 day notice prior to funeral they said “why didn’t you tell me”, rather than I’m sorry, we will get your shift covered, or something like that.. made it seem like it was a huge hassle that my family member died.. Not that they actually cared my family member died. Constantly getting text messages when I’m off the clock and constant phone calls off the clock. I would cry, about needing to work again that day or he next day.. They could tell I wasn’t happy for the past 2 years but didn’t seem to do much to try to make it better.. worked there for over 6 years total. ALWAYS working holidays and weekends. Doesn’t matter. And have to use PTO to get Holiday pay.. I always worked 12 hour Saturday shifts.. Long shifts (12 hr, 16 hr, 18 hr) I rarely had 8 hour shifts. I have a 24 hour shift once when there was a blizzard..

Pros

I think there is many pros to this job. Not only is it rewarding when you can see a difference you have made in someones life but you can help them every day to gain the tools that they need in every day life situations. You dont have to buy your lunch or dinner as there is a cook here. My Program manager is great and easy to bring concerns to. My program manger works with us and not against us and makes us all feel like she is in our corner. My program manager understands family is first and if we call out because our child is sick or if the school calls randomly she is very understanding. My program manager has a great demeanor but doesnt F around This company has allowed me to grow not only as a person but i have developed a wonderful career and this company makes me proud

Cons

I want to say the pay is low for what we do, BUT people are paid for the work they do. I do wish the bonus's were better but dont we all? **To the employees who dont do their job, we see you.. make an effort or go
