Pros
Tronox provides good benefits to both the employee and their families. Sick leave and vacation polices are very good - based on years of experience. Some managers do allow for comp time when you have worked long weeks due to not paying overtime. Tronox provides a 401K match and plans to payout a bonus program in 2012 for the 2011 performance.
Cons
The downside at working with Tronox is the employee structure. With the current setup, there is not much room for advancement for Process Engineers. Most moves within the plant are only lateral moves. There are few leadership building type roles within the current structure of the plant. When the leadership roles do become available, interviews are not conducted for the jobs - they appointed by site leadership positions. Tronox does not provide cell phones to the process engineers but do expect you to be available at all time through personal cell phones.
