Pros
Great departmental cooperation. Flexible schedule within reason. Usually two week break for Christmas, in addition to 12 days paid vacation, and 12 days sick time per year. Tuition assistance (one class free per semester for employee, and 75% off regular tuition for dependents).
Cons
Low pay compared to area. Most decisions are made for all campus locations by those at the Troy, Alabama location, even though the student demographics served by each campus are very much different. Company politics lends itself to the "good ol' boys" advancing ahead of more qualified personnel. Military experience is the price of entry to upper management.
