Pros
Public education benefits (insurance, retirement, etc.), college environment, make a difference in people's lives, and federal holidays. Campus is growing so you physically see the successes of the university
Cons
Low pay, little room to move up until people retire, there's limited staff so there's a lot more work on the little guys
