You will be expected to work a lot of over time in this position without any kind of official compensation. Thankfully, the person currently in charge is aware of this and allows a little extra time off in the slower periods. Also, the majority of the positions in our department are either considered entry-level or director-level with not much between, so I would view working at this school as a stepping stone that will lead to someplace better once you have a little experience.
