Pros
I gained so many connections in many departments on campus as a student worker. Also, as a student worker, I learned many different clerical skills. I worked in an office that I got to meet many different students outside of my "normal circle" of friends.
Cons
I honestly can't say anything about the positions I held at Troy. I held the same student worker position all 4 years I was in school. My other job at Troy was an IMPACT Orientation Leader which was one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had.
