Rural, low cost of living, slow pace
Cons
Very low pay scales relative to market averages. They use the excuse of being rural to pay their employees almost half the national average for their positions. Yet, they never seem to be short of million-dollar building programs. Most high-quality employees are sniped off by Auburn University which often pays double what Troy does.
