Pros
Great coworkers with brilliant minds. Great middle management who will advocate for you. Competitive pay.
Cons
Since the arrival of the new CEO approximately two years ago, the company's culture has deteriorated significantly. Widespread layoffs have occurred with little to no transparency or communication. Despite repeated verbal assurances over the years that remote work would remain unchanged, a mandatory return-to-office policy was recently enacted with minimal consideration for employee input. Notably, the annual employee survey was distributed shortly before this policy change—raising concerns about the sincerity of leadership’s interest in employee feedback. At the most recent all-employee forum, the CEO avoided accountability for the decision and instead made it clear that employees dissatisfied with the new direction were free to leave. The message was unmistakable: this is the new reality, and leadership is uninterested in how it affects morale, productivity, or retention. Regrettably, I can no longer recommend this company as a great place to work.
