Pros

Company provided equipment; 401k after 1 year; The members of the legal team (Including leadership on the legal team) are some of the best people anyone could ask to work alongside. They are trustworthy, kind-hearted, and genuinely care about their role in the firm. If it were not for all of them, I would have resigned much sooner than I did.

Cons

I say this with no malicious intent, but rather in the hopes of saving people from wasting their time. Picture the most toxic workplace you have ever been subjected to...now multiply that by 20. The leadership on the admin side (Specifically the firm's Legal Administrator and Controller) have zero background leading and making decisions on behalf of a law firm, which has led to a significant amount of half-baked, hair brain schemes which directly impacted the stability and morale of the firm members. They will draw you in with promises of supporting your personal growth and career advancement as well as offers of flexible hours, bonus incentives, and an overall solid company culture built on respect and integrity. Once they get you in, you will realize that it was a facade and by that time you will be left with lower than average pay and high billable requirements, nonsensical and mostly unattainable bonuses that are often tied to the success of others, a level of micromanagement that could drive the most sane person mad, and most unfortunately, admin leadership who not only lack any sense of accountability for themselves but also have absolutely no interest in fixing the toxicity that they are responsible for contributing to the firm's working environment and overall culture. Do not be fooled when they attempt to gain your trust by saying they have an open door policy. If and when you use that open door to address issues, no matter how good your intentions may be, nothing will be corrected and you will be labeled as difficult. If you are someone who asks questions when presented with information or demands that are lacking in logic, you will not thrive at this firm. If you are someone with boundaries, you will not thrive at this firm. If you are someone who is looking for a long term role, you will not find that here. In fact, the owner of the firm prides himself on the fact that he views his employees as replaceable. I wish that were an exaggeration, but sadly it is not.

Pros

Working at Truce Law as a Firm Liaison has been a truly meaningful and fulfilling experience. From day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and empowered to bring my full self to the role. The leadership team fosters open communication and truly values collaboration, creativity, and compassion — both internally and in how we serve our clients. My role allows me to connect with people in vulnerable moments and help guide them toward peaceful, thoughtful resolutions, which is incredibly rewarding. I appreciate how the firm is intentional about creating a supportive work environment that balances professionalism with genuine care for one another. If you're looking for a workplace where your voice matters, your ideas are heard, and your work makes a real difference, Truce Law is a place where you can grow and thrive.

Cons

Because the team is growing and roles are evolving, sometimes responsibilities shift quickly — which requires flexibility and clear communication. But the leadership is receptive to feedback and always working to improve processes.
