Pros
I've been at True for almost 2.5 years. I started out making $13/hr and now I make almost $16/hour. I work on one of the major production lines, and some of the reviews I've read on here that are negative are a bit extreme. Yes, you are expected to make your quota every day (as you should be), but you don't get fired if you don't make it every day. There is an attendance policy: upon hiring you get 3 DU (days unpaid but excused) days, at 6 months you get 5 vacation days, and at your 1 year you get 7 vacation days and 32 hours of PTO (paid time off). I have called into work multiple times unexcused and have not been fired or ever gotten in trouble. I have gotten merit raises every year I have worked there. Obviously if you are going to call into work all the time, or constantly complain to management about what you're being asked to do, you are going to get fired. Anyone who has a decent work ethic knows that. Also, if you are caught working on ANY of your breaks you will get told not to. Not because they want to make your job difficult for you, but because if you were to get hurt, that is on them. They are just looking out for your safety, As far as the heat goes, there are plenty of other jobs that work in far hotter conditions that you do at True, so count your blessings. They tell you when you're interviewed about the summer heat. So, if its not something you can handle, don't work here. Otherwise, don't complain. All in all, I've had a very pleasant experience working at True Manufacturing.
Cons
The only con I really have is I wish I was moved around to different jobs more. I've been in the same area ever since I started working here.
