      Pros

      Comp if you are a former BB&T teammate.

      Cons

      Basically working for BB&T. Newly defined job grades have no rhyme or reason as individual contributors at lower levels with minimal roles graded out equally with some senior managers with P&L responsibilities. The compensation discrepancies are painfully obvious. Long hours and work to produce mean nothing.

      Pros

      Great benefits and pay with very good training programs, lots of opportunities for growth

      Cons

      The culture struggles to figure itself out after the big merger. Lots of senior employees were bitter about younger/new hires getting paid well. Lots of dealing with hierarchal mindsets that get in the way of the actual work.
