      Pros

      Pay and benefits were good.

      Cons

      What was a company I loved is now run my short-term SunTrust leaders that don’t seem to give a darn. The culture of consensus and working with one another is gone. It’s political and there’s in-fighting. It’s terrible. Look at how much BB&T leadership hit the road. And let’s not forget it was BB&T that bought SunTrust — how did they win!?

      Pros

      Great benefits and pay with very good training programs, lots of opportunities for growth

      Cons

      The culture struggles to figure itself out after the big merger. Lots of senior employees were bitter about younger/new hires getting paid well. Lots of dealing with hierarchal mindsets that get in the way of the actual work.
