Pros

Truist has a lot of good people that still work here, and it operates in some of the best markets in the country. For early career talent, it could be a place to get a start.

Cons

Unfortunately it has become abundantly clear that the merger has failed. There was an opportunity to create a terrific new company, and that opportunity was squandered. What is left is a company with poor client experience and expense management. Truist is currently savagely cutting expenses which will only hurt the client experience. And the teammate experience will only deteriorate from here. It's a shame that Truist has become a Wells Fargo recycling facility.

Pros

Great benefits and pay with very good training programs, lots of opportunities for growth

Cons

The culture struggles to figure itself out after the big merger. Lots of senior employees were bitter about younger/new hires getting paid well. Lots of dealing with hierarchal mindsets that get in the way of the actual work.
