Pros
The company offers a lot of benefits, i.e. corporate lunches, an on-site salon, a game room, free massages and company events. The office building we are in is very nice and certainly an upgrade from the former location. Depending on which department you are in will slightly change the following; but overall they are flexible with hours, working remotely and leaving for appointments, etc. when need be. Finally, the office location is great- it is around many restaurants and businesses and near two interstates for easy commuting.
Cons
The overarching problem with trustaff is that it is a young company, it is quite obvious who has been there since the beginning or the near-beginning. Those individuals can get away with a lot more than newer employees. In addition, if you are not a recruiter, there is a looming feeling that you are regarded as less important to company success. That being said, these same people are often in management as this company promotes leadership based on years of service, and not on skill and ability to lead. Many managers place unnecessary hardships on employees and are simply not qualified to lead. Also, while there is an HR department, you could easily miss that as their presence is lacking and not so impartial as one would hope. Regarding pay, that is decent- nothing special and certainly not competitive. Most employees are not college graduates and trustaff does not pay differently or offer any advantages to those who are educated. There are also many employees with questionable pasts. Finally, the benefits that we receive are extremely expensive and do not cover much.
