Pros

You get a company truck and credit card to buy anything you need for the job. You get a work phone, and iPad. Offers benefits.

Cons

Feel as if the jobs are falsely advertised. This is pest control, that's it. The majority of what you'll be doing is changing rat bait in bait stations. Sometimes you get to trap (snakes, raccoons, squirrels, etc.) but not that much. MOST IMPORTANTLY - My manager (and I've heard that's how all other manager are) had his favorites. There are two jobs; one where you mostly "sell" the service and do the initial set up, and one where you do the monthly check-ups. These jobs are based on compensation. The sellers have a chance to make bigger paychecks, and the monthly's have guaranteed smaller paychecks as long as they do their stops. My personal experience with this was that my boss would give most of the big selling money jobs to another employee, and the employee would not finish his job (setting up traps, treated with repellent, fixing entrances to building, etc). People would complain to me, I would relay it to my boss, and NOTHING happened because he was making money for them. It was very frustrating. You are on call 24/7. Expected to work Monday-Saturday. They say you can "make your own schedule," but that's NOT the case. If you want a monotonous job that doesn't really have any opportunity to advance, and don't mind working very long days 6 days a week, this is the job for you. Wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for their first "starter" job out of college because it is a waste of time. There's nothing you can put on your resume once you are finished there.
