I can balance my work life with my home life. My son is currently taking school from home and I can reasonably accommodate that because of my flexible schedule. There are times when I am still working at 10 pm, but I am also available and flexible to attend his morning meetings. My DM treats me as an adult and trusts me to get the job done. I find that level of trust invaluable. I also know that I can call on him and get an immediate answer regardless of the day.
Cons
Some weeks I work 7 days. But in work/life integration, work doesn’t really seem like a chore. It is an opportunity to get things done that benefit and pay later. My Salesforce CRM is an excellent tool to keep an eye on my customer inventory!

It is incredible to hear that our goal of providing work/life balance is not only achievable, but is actively being utilized so successfully. We are happy to support our teammates with benefits like flexible schedules, as it allows the uncertainty of our times to not weigh us down. We take pride in our dedication to our teammates, and we will continue to think of new ways to engage and support our Shedders!
- Easy product to sell
- Competition truly does not compete with quality
- Employee owned company (ESOP is earned every year, it’s free money)
- True sense of purpose. It’s a job where you don’t realize how much of an impact you’re making until you realize EVERYONE has a shed
- Pay is good, you can make more than you would think.
- Atmosphere is great, management is easily accessible and can help answer questions. Getting information isn’t a problem.
Cons
Stores are open 7 days a week, your schedule will fluctuate and weekends is a must. Great for your wallet, bad if you like having a standard Monday - Friday.
